Just a few words about me and this blog.

My name is Daphne. Among many things I am a neuroscientist and a fire dancer (that’s where ‘Firefly’ comes from). Utterly unable to live without music, laughter and positivity, I’m constantly trying to improve (or perplex – depending on the point of view) mine and other people’s lives.

I’m in a never-ending search of interesting people and experiences.

I am against anyone or anything that restricts any form of freedom (thus no censorship in this blog).

I love logic and common sense – which is not so common after all.

A fair warning, my friends say I’m crazy 🙂 – yes, I know what you’re thinking, and no, there is no paradox with the previous line!

This blog is mainly a way for me to keep track of all the things that catch my attention.. so you’ll find posts about science, music, politics, art, things that brought a smile or a frown on my face and occasionally my own thoughts.

On the side you’ll find links for various blogs and online comics I follow, plus a ‘join’ button if you like this blog enough to follow it.
